Modular vs Manufactured

One of our most commonly asked questions is, "What's the difference between a manufactured home and a modular home?" The truthful answer is, not much if you build with us.  We build quality, strength, and durability into every part of our homes, exceeding all building codes.

Manufactured homes are built to a federal code(HUD).  Modular homes are built to a state code.  To match the standard features of modular homes, m
anufactured homes can be upgraded to a drywall interior finish, steeper pitched roofs, including walk-up attics, and designed to be placed on basements.  With these upgrades, the main distinction between manufactured builders and most modular builders is a metal frame system as compared to a wooden floor truss.

Our homes represent the best of all building systems. Our homes have a complete home warranty assuring either building method is a great choice. This guarantees your home is a sound investment and will provide the lifestyle you deserve for many years to come.

            Manufactured Homes

♦  Usually larger footprints available.
♦  More square footage for your money.
♦  Home only loans available (no bank
    lien against your property).
♦  Mechanicals such as heating and
    plumbing are standard features.

♦  Home can be relocated.

              Modular Homes

♦  More freedom over design.
♦  15-20% savings over comparable
    site-built homes.
♦  100% financing for those who qualify.
♦  Opportunity for higher appraisals.
♦  Usually unlimited placement or
    deed restrictions.

Excellence in Building.
