During a span of 7 years from high school to college, I was a bike mechanic for a Schwinn dealer, earning enough money to self finance 100% of my college expenses. I also setup the Grove City bike dealership and managed that operation. I have been a passionate cyclist for many years. There are very few repairs that I am not equipped to perform. TUNE UP I recommend a tune up once a year on every bike that needs to be considered safe and reliable!
Annual Tune-Up Package includes, but not limited to, the following:
· Conduct safety check (make sure seat, handlebar, & reflectors installed correctly);
· Clean your bicycle. Yes I will clean it;
· Inspect and inflate tires to proper pressure;
· Grease nuts and bolts and check torques;
· True/Straighten both wheels (check spoke tension and align);
· Adjust bearing tensions (both wheels, headset/stem, bottom bracket/cranks);
· Adjust front/rear brakes (inspect pads and cables);
· Adjust gears (inspect cables and adjust front/rear derailleurs);
· Lubrication of chain, cables, and all pivot points;
· Replace any worn parts (parts extra); &
· Install accessories if necessary.
Each bike is its own unique case, and usually more work will be completed. My goal is for your bike to operate safely before it leaves my facility. A test ride by me will make sure everything works properly. I will also make recommendations for appropriate fit and demonstrate proper use.
Fast service at reasonable fees (40% savings over local shop rates between $40-$60).
You will be given an estimate during your FREE safety inspection(a $15.00 retail value).

OVERHAULS An overhaul completely reconditions your bike. If your bike is so dirty that a tune-up will be ineffective, then you need an overhaul. If you have premium equipment, or ride off road, overhaul is recommended yearly. Comprehensive Overhaul Package includes, but not limited to, the following:

· Inspect and inflate tires to proper pressure;
· Grease nuts and bolts and check torques;
